Publishing video on your blog is not as easy as a copy-paste of the code propose by the website. I often run into problems mainly because of the editor used by my blog platform. I found it painful enough to think that putting something together for the bloggers on “Parlons” might be a good idea… Done. All they need to do now when publishing a video is to put the video link between bracket [ ].

I have been quite busy lately and I forgot to announce that one… iFeedYou is dead! It was a difficult move but a realistic one… I can not spend hours on that project anymore and it has become too difficult and too expensive to maintain the service up. I feel bad for the very few people that were still using it but they can if they want contact me offline and I will set up for them an alternative online aggregator (while Google Reader or Bloglines might actually do the job :-).

Gravatar has been acquired by Automattic.
Here is what Om Malik thinks about this acquisition, as for myself I could see how to use it for tracking comments I put on weblogs (and comments are useful). Now that I have a Gravatar tied to my email address, checking and parsing Gravatar.com’s webserver logs could tell where I leave comments (assuming the blog has gravatar switched on).
Here is the very few lines of code to make your WordPress blog also Gravatar-enabled.
The very same mp4 file taken from the same computer… here is the result with YouTube and with Kewego. I reported the problem to Kewego about a month ago and apparently nothing has be done so far! Too bad.
