Twitter thoughts (and how Feed2Mobile can help)

I am currently playing around with Twitter, a nice tiny community tool that basically lets you log what you are doing at any time from the web, your mobile (through SMS) or IM… (basically a tool inbetween the blog and IM).
You can then also add friends to your list and when logged in your homepage will then aggregate all their posts.

Few thoughts…
Why not providing a mobile web interface to update your twitter ? This tool targets also – mainly ? – people on the move! You can update your feed by SMS but why not making it possible through the mobile web ?
Maybe even more important, why can’t I check my friends timeline through my mobile ? Nothing difficult there (it is just text and a picture for the avatar) ?

Using Feed2Mobile…
Thanks to RSS feed provided by Twitter and Feed2Mobile you can read your friends twitter on your mobile and imho this is getting really interesting. Here is my Twitter timeline. There is even a feed for the aggregating view of your friend, you can then just read all your aggregated friends content on your mobile..

Twitter also has an API

Verifying mobile phone number…
Somehow this is a “personnal” note as I find the process interesting…

Lift 07 wrapup

Lift 07
Great event… and no flyer distributed, well,… I have seen some cocomment guy wearing awesome t-shirts but I guess that is ok ;-) Joke aside… I loved it, great people, great conferences (some were maybe a bit… light, but I guess it is difficult to prepare one targeting a quite wide audience). The panel, much more interactive nad lively, were more interesting I think, especially the one about Technology Overload

Because once again other recap much better than I do, check those blogs if you want to know what happens:

Tom Hume
Lunch Over IP
TSR blogs (in french) with videos interview

You can also check the conference website for presentations (and probably videos soon)

Hi my name is Jérôme…

… and I am an internet and technology addict.

From the panel: Dealing with technological overload @ Lift (one of the most interesting panel so far)

It feels good to be in a room where lot of people would actually feel the same… one even shared it in the mic (mic is too much for me so I shout it on my blog ;-)

Actually I am glad to be able to connect my laptop to my mobile and uses GPRS connection. I am also lucky to have a good data package plan (which I pay a quite undescent amount of money)… what about foreigner ?
