Talking about digital identity

Google reads my emails, Google knows who visits my websites, Google knows how much I earn with my websites, Google knows what are my interests,…
It might sounds obvisous but Google becoming Evil is not something I can feel on the web (or not enough), would it be too late anyway ?

Google reads my emails == I’m using gmail
Google knows who visits my websites == nobody would visit them if it wasn’t for Google
Google knows how much I earn with my websites == I’m an Adsense customer
Google knows what are my interests == I’m using Google web search

In all cases you have a choice.

Is knowledge evil or what you do with it ?
